Desert Jet Center at KTRM to open FBO with EPIC as fuel supplier

Las Vegas, NV November 17, 2015 – Desert Jet, a private jet charter, management and maintenance company based at the Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport (KTRM) in Thermal, California, has selected EPIC as its aviation fuel supplier for Desert Jet Center, its new FBO at KTRM.  Desert Jet recently announced a significant investment as it expands its operations at the popular Palm Springs area airport with the construction of a new facility and the formation of a new business, Desert Jet Center.

In addition to many new state-of-the-art amenities, Desert Jet Center will have a 48,000 gallon fuel farm to enable continuous availability of jet fuel to the thousands of business aircraft that visit the airport annually. EPIC will provide both Jet-A and Avgas (LL100) fuel to the operation and the EPIC credit card will be accepted for fuel and ancillary services.

“It was important to us to choose a supplier who not only understands our business, but more importantly, shares our commitment to the customer service experience,” said Denise Wilson, President and CEO of parent company Desert Jet, and founder of Desert Jet Center.  “Additionally, EPIC has a great track-record in providing innovative programs to help FBOs succeed as well as having stellar performance in safety, both of which weighed in our decision to select them” said Wilson.

“We’re proud to partner with Desert Jet to help them succeed with their vision of changing the landscape at Thermal airport; both for the business aviation traveler and the local community with the addition of new, high-paying aviation jobs that will come with Desert Jet Center,” said Steve McCullough, EPIC senior vice president of general aviation.  “Desert Jet is a well-respected, well-run organization.  Their expertise, convenient location and superior service, combined with the soon-to-be-built new facilities will make for an excellent customer experience.”
